Kelvindale

Kelvindale is a western district in the city of Glasgow in Scotland. Construction started in the 1920s by Glasgow Corporation. The houses were intended for sale rather than for rent, but they retain some architectural features in common with Glasgow's once enormous rental housing stock. Subsequently in the 1930s private builders extended the distict considerably. In the early 2000s it remains a desirable family area near the city's West End. A railway station was opened on 26 September 2005 to serve Kelvindale. It runs from Glasgow Queen Street (High Level) to Anniesland. This is an extension of the Maryhill Line.

Cleveden Secondary School is located in the Kelvindale area.
