Glasgow College of Building & Printing and Glasgow College of Food Technology have merged and officially launched on 7th February 2005 as Glasgow Metropolitan College.

Glasgow Metropolitan is the first new college in Scotland for over 10 years.

With combined student enrolments of approx. 20,000, more than 500 staff and an annual turnover of £22million, Glasgow Metropolitan College will be one of the biggest colleges in Scotland!

We’re aiming to make facilities and services even better for our students and will, of course, continue to provide the highest standards of learning and teaching in our key specialist areas:
