Bamboo is a totally unique, three roomed, city centre basement Bar and Club that has been open since November 2002. The venue is open seven nights a week (from 10pm (9pm Fridays and Saturdays and 11pm Mondays) until 3am. Bamboo provides the ideal backdrop for a relaxing drink with its fully air-conditioned warm interior and sumptuous surroundings. Cocktails are a main feature in Bamboo and are served in the Lounge. The cocktail list was written by the globally renowned bar man, Dick Bradsell. Dick is famous for his work at London’s Atlantic bar and is quoted regularly in chef, Jamie Oliver’s television show and books. Bamboo seamlessly transforms into a vibrant clubbing environment from 11pm-3am. The three rooms play host to an eclectic mix of credible yet accessible sounds. The vibe is most definitely funky delivering variety and energy in the same venue from some of the city’s most established and up and coming DJ’s. The club itself has three rooms. These rooms are Room 1 (playing R&B, street soul & hip hop), the Red room and the Lounge (relaxing grooves). |
