The deep, subterranean basement (this is, after all, a real underground venue) at number 22 Jamaica Street has always provided a home for Glasgow's forward thinking party people. From the 1950's as Le Cave, Glasgow's premier jazz club, to the arrival of house music on these shores from Chicago clubs like The Warehouse and The Music Box in the 1980's, right through to the present day, the venue is rooted in musical movement.
