| I'm from Scotland (presently living in Glasgow) and have been involved with music all my life - mother was a professional singer, father sang too and played piano, accordion, and fiddle so I didn't have much choice!
I worked for 15 years in professional rock bands and God-knows-how-long semi-pro mainly singing but also playing guitar or bass before getting into the teaching profession (Spanish/Italian and now I.T.). About 8 years ago, I started studying flamenco guitar - I've never gotten very good at it but it's certainly improved every other aspect of my playing. Of late, I've bought a Zoom 1266 digital home studio and am writing a *lot* of material again after a long gap. My songs are in a variety of styles with country-rock/60s-soul roots.
