Rosebank House provides comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation on the eastern edge of the Trossachs in Perthshire, central Scotland . Mal Dingle welcomes guests to Rosebank House, an elegant and spacious Victorian house situated in the village of Strathyre, 8 miles north of Callander.

Strathyre is a pleasant village in attractive countryside and is also a convenient base from which to explore the Trossachs. The Trossachs is often known as ' The Highlands in Miniature ' and has long been regarded as one of the most scenic areas in Scotland.

The Strathyre valley straddles the river Balvaig which flows between Loch Voil in Balquhidder and Loch Lubnaig. The hills on each side of the valley are covered by the Strathyre forest. Spring and autumn are particularly colourful seasons. Strathyre and the surrounding areas are rich in birds, wildlife, woodlands and flora.
Accommodation

Accommodation at Rosebank comprises five bedrooms which are fully equipped with television, coffee and tea-making facilities and enjoy excellent views of the garden and surrounding countryside.

Rosebank House has a comfortable lounge equipped with coffee and tea-making facilities, satellite TV, a DVD player, an XBOX and a variety of board games. Many guests enjoy the large attractive garden with its superb views. There is also a conservatory in which to relax.

Pets are welcome at Rosebank House.

A little over an hour's drive from both Edinburgh and Glasgow, Strathyre is also well situated for exploring much of Scotland. The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Glencoe, the Arrochar Alps and Stirling are all within easy reach by car. The more adventurous may choose to drive to Oban and catch a ferry to one of the islands.

With its scenic location and so many places of interest within easy reach, Strathyre makes an excellent base for a weekend break or longer holiday.

* No charge for children under 5 sharing room with parents
* Children 6 to 14 - Half adult rate when sharing room with parents

Three nights - 5% reduction on room rate.
Four nights or more - 10% reduction on room rate.
Breakfast
A freshly cooked full breakfast is provided which is made from locally sourced produce where possible. Haggis and black pudding are available along with sausages, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and eggs cooked as desired.
Vegetarians are welcome and a wide variety of tea and coffee is available.
